Season 41 of "Survivor" premieres on September 22 at 8 p.m. ET on CBS. The castaways will be dropped off in Fiji and split into tribes for the competition. After weeks of forming alliances, dominating challenges, and living off the land, one person will be named the sole survivor.

The filming for season 41 of "Survivor" was delayed due to the coronavirus pandemic. "Survivor" typically strands competitors on an island location for 39 days, but reporting from Entertainment Weekly suggests this season will be limited to 26 days.

Danny McCray, a former football player for the Dallas Cowboys and the Chicago Bears, is the most notable of this season's competitors.

Season 41 of "Survivor" will premiere on CBS on September 22 at 8 p.m. ET. New episodes are broadcast weekly on Wednesdays.
